The use of the drug Corado from the Colorado potato beetle

Description of the drug

Corado is an effective remedy that fights not only with the Colorado potato beetle, but also with aphids. This is a fairly concentrated pesticide, which is characterized by a rather sharp specific odor.

The Indian drug appeared on the market not so long ago. Its peculiarity is that it is quite resistant to sunlight and does not give in to moisture.

Pests do not yet have immunity to this remedy. After processing the crop, it is protected for a month. Corado acts quickly and does not give chances to bugs, aphids and even their larvae.

Release form

In order not to run into a fake, you should know that the Corado Remedy has the original form of release.

  1. The drug is sold in ampoules of 1 ml, as well as 5 ml. On sale there are single ampoules or 5 pieces in a blister.
  2. Realization in bottles of 10 and 25 ml, with plastic packaging and packed in cardboard boxes.

Packing means occurs in small doses due to the high concentration of the active substance in the drug. This packaging also facilitates the dilution of the drug. To avoid fakes, a unique protective barcode is applied to each ampoule and packaging of products.

The Corado insecticide has a pronounced odor characteristic of pesticides. The bottles have a sealed lid that easily twists - this makes it possible to be sure that the product does not spill. Packaging reliably protects the chemical from overheating of sunlight and moisture.

Chemical action

Get rid of bugs

Already 2 hours after the potato treatment has passed, the drug begins its effect. Affected beetles begin to refuse food, i.e. from potatoes. Corado pesticide has a directed paralytic effect and instantly affects the nervous system of the beetle, although at first glance it may seem different. In view of the fact that the poisoned Colorado potato beetle has physical activity for 3 days. After this period, the larvae and adult beetles die.

The main advantage of Corado in the fight against the Colorado potato-eating bug is that it is very difficult to develop immunity to this kind of pesticide. Instructions for use indicate that treatment with an insecticide once, will retain its properties for several seasons in a row, after which the chemical should be replaced for a while to prevent harmful insects from developing immunity to the poison.

Breeding rules

Instructions for use against various pests differ in the concentration of the pesticide. In order for the processing of potatoes and other vegetables to go correctly and the Colorado potato beetles leave your garden, you will need to prepare a solution. We will prepare the insecticidal solution in two stages.

  1. Take a container with a markup of up to five liters. Then pour 2 l of water 1 ml of Corado, mix thoroughly.
  2. Then add water to the mark of 5 liters. Stir well.

Such a volume of pesticide solution is enough to treat the landing area of 1 hundred parts. Before you begin any use of pesticides, carefully read the instructions for use.

A more saturated concentrate is prepared in the fight against aphids, which attacks vegetable crops and spoils the harvest. To process fruit trees from Aphids, we use the following proportions: for 10 liters of water, 2-5 ml of the chemical. If the situation with the pest is in very poor condition, then: 10 liters of water 5-7 ml of poison. Against flies we also use treatment with a concentrate: 2 ml of insecticide in 10 liters of water. The flow rate of the solution during irrigation will be 5 liters per adult tree.

Terms of use

If you have prepared a solution, then it should be used immediately on this day due to the fact that the insecticide may lose its properties. Also, when working with a chemical, a number of rules must be observed:

  • produce pesticide irrigation only in warm, dry weather;

  • air temperature should range from 12 to 27.

Of course, it is better to look at the weather forecast in advance in order to avoid unexpected precipitation. After all, in order for the poison to absorb and manage to settle tightly on the leaves of a vegetable crop, it will take 5 hours.

In order to properly process the plants, the time of the procedure should also be taken into account. Spraying with chemicals is usually done in the evening, starting at 18.00. If there is a need for morning spraying, then this should be done before 10.00 in order to avoid burns of leaves and stems.
