Characteristics of Nastena-sweeten

Hybrids are plants specially bred to obtain a specific set of characteristics, such as weight and color of the fruit, and resistance to disease. This group of plants includes tomato Slastena and its variety f1 Nastya-sweeten.

Characteristics of Nastena-sweeten

Grade characteristics

The variety is grown almost throughout the country: from the southern regions to the Urals and the Far East.

According to the description:

  • The variety is intended for cultivation in a greenhouse and open ground.
  • In a greenhouse, the height of Slasten reaches 1.8 m.
  • In terms of ripening, the variety is mid-early.
  • The stem carries up to 10 brushes.
  • One brush totals up to 40 tomatoes.
  • The weight of the fetus is about 100 g.
  • The shape of the fruit is elongated, cylindrical.

On average, one plant produces up to 2.5 kg of fruit.

Plant description

The indeterminate variety Nastya-sweeten practically gives no stepsons, but they are removed when they appear.

The fruits hang in long garlands, because the variety is grown in 1-2 stems. If there are more stems, the fruits often come into contact with each other, which provokes gray rot.

On the stems of variety f1 Nastya is sweetened with very few leaves. Moreover, they are small, evenly colored. When grown in open ground, the color is dark green, in the greenhouse it is lighter. Streaks are poorly expressed.

Fruit Description

The first brush of these cherry tomatoes is formed in the region of 8 or 9 leaves. The following brushes - after 3-4 leaves. The inflorescence is simple, contains up to 40 flowers. Flowers open and pollinated alternately, so the brush looks like a long ampoule waterfall of fruits.

When ripening, the fruits are:

  • pink;
  • red
  • raspberry;
  • yellow.

Tomatoes are covered with a dense skin that is not prone to cracking, but if excess moisture is felt in the soil, cracking does occur. This spoils their taste and presentation.

Tomato fruits have a sweet taste.

Preparation for sowing seeds

Tomatoes in Siberia and the Far East are grown in greenhouses and only in seedlings. Hybrid seeds are bought at a store.

The temperature in the nurseries should not be lower than 25 ° C during the daytime and 16 ° C at night. Land is acquired in specialized stores or created independently. Coarse sand, wood ash and rotted manure are added to the soil, sometimes small sawdust of fruit trees, so that it is lighter and crumbly. Necessarily need drainage.

Sowing seeds

Before sowing, the seeds of the high-yielding tomato Slasten are disinfected in a weak solution of potassium permanganate for 8 hours. Granular seeds treated with growth stimulants are sometimes acquired. They are sown without any pretreatments.

Drainage is poured into a thin layer on the bottom of pots or deep dishes, after which about 10 cm of soil is added and leveled without tamping. Washed and slightly dried seeds are laid out on the surface, but not densely. Top with a layer of not more than 1 cm pour soil.

The earth is sprayed with water from a spray bottle and covered with polyethylene. Landing is exposed to a bright place and monitor the condition of the soil. If everything is done correctly, shoots will appear after 5 or 6 days. In the nursery plants are about 60 days.

Tomato seedling care

When two pairs of leaves appear on the shoots, the plant is dived.

There are several more rules for sprout care:

  • Seedlings should receive a lot of light.
  • It is necessary to maintain a certain temperature.
  • As the topsoil dries, it is important to water.

It is impossible to moisten plantings strongly: excess moisture leads to decay of the leaves, and this is fraught with diseases.

Permanent landing

Plants need garter

In the southern regions, tomatoes are planted in open ground. Before this, the seedlings harden for two weeks. On the first day, plants are exposed for half an hour. In the second time, they increase again and so on.

With greenhouse cultivation, plants will not need hardening. They are simply carefully removed from the nurseries, and then delivered to the greenhouses.

Land must be marked so that there are 4 bushes per 1 m². They are planted in a checkerboard pattern. A handful of ash is added to the wells, after which they are poured with warm water. Strong supports or trellises are installed near each well.

Rather high sprouts immediately tie up. The soil near the stems is mulched. A fine straw section or a dark film is suitable for this.

Bushes care

The main components of care are:

  • watering;
  • weeding and loosening;
  • extermination of insects and slugs;
  • disease prevention.

Plantings are watered once a week. Make it warm water. After watering, loosening is carried out, preventing the soil from forming a crust when dried.

Lime is scattered in the aisles and on the paths: this scares off the slugs. For the destruction of small insects, insecticides acquire a wide spectrum of action.

For the first time, planting is fertilized after the plants are rooted. For this, complex mineral fertilizers are applied by spraying the bushes. Foliar top dressing can be carried out before the formation of the first brush. The time between dressings is 15 days.

Organic mixtures are prepared on their own.

  • Take a large capacity.
  • Up to half fill it with rotted mullein or bird droppings and add water.
  • Keep the mixture warm for two weeks, stirring occasionally for better fermentation.
  • The finished substance is diluted with warm water in a ratio of 1:10 and watered plants under the root.

Varieties are practically not affected by late blight, gray rot, powdery mildew and other viruses, but they are best treated for prevention. Apply Fitosporin, Bravo, Aktaru and other chemicals.
